Fanciful Snowflake

This sort of painting is so fun and self-indulgent! Just layering, exploring line, texture and colour within a limited palette. Winter always reads "blue" to me, and no winter painting would be complete without the hue.

It's not what I'd originally envisioned when I started painting that first central snowflake, but I had fun playing and this painting makes me happy. "Fanciful Snowflake" measures 8.5" x 14" and is available for purchase.
